I have been making homemade suet cakes for my feathered friends on our rural Iowa home for years and they seem to love them.
I start by rendering 100% beef suet myself three times over which produces a higher melt point then I add various ingredients such as dried fruit, nuts, black oil sunflower seed or bugs. I do not use millseed, peanut butter or any added preservatives in my suet cakes. I currently have five varieties to choose from. Cranberry Cracked Corn, Sunflower Special, Peanut Delight, Nutty Surprise and Bugs Galore ($2.05). I make these suet cakes to order and they are vacuum sealed to ensure you have the freshest product available.
We can deliver orders of 25 or more to your door at no extra charge within 20 miles of downtown Omaha. Cash on delivery, no checks.
Smaller orders can be shipped to your home at your cost or we can arrange for pick-up in Crescent, Iowa.
